Interested in exploring the practice of intellectual property law at a large law firm, synonymous with leadership in the field? Look to the Summer Program at Brinks Hofer Gilson & Lione. Our program is designed to give you well-rounded exposure to practicing intellectual property law, one of the most progressive and intellectually stimulating areas of law today. You will experience challenging aspects of the work we do for an exciting, varied range of clients, including major corporations in the U.S. and abroad.
Under the guidance of Brinks's attorneys, you will be accelerated into responsibility with accountability for substantial projects. Summer associates can expect to work closely with a variety of attorneys and to interact regularly with our shareholders. The responsibilities you will be given, as well as the instruction you will receive from all our attorneys, will equip you with solid insight into the complexities of intellectual property matters. Possible subject areas include patents, trademarks, copyrights, trade secrets, unfair competition, licensing and antitrust issues.
Equally important, as a summer associate, you will experience the dynamics of a culture that pulses with team spirit and knowledge-sharing, exemplifies inclusion as a principle of work and life, and provides opportunities for lawyers to demonstrate commitment to the community at large. That same culture offers the advantages of informality, good humor and open communication.
